Linksys Velop Pro 7 is a WiFi mesh system, which has three devices. you have to connect one to the modem and others to the router node.

Linksys Velop Pro 7 (MBE7003) Setup

Velop Pro 7 WiFi mesh system has three networking nodes in its package content. In which, one of them connects to the home modem and others will connect to the router without any cable. At first, let’s connect all the Networking devices.

Connect All Velop Nodes

You have to disconnect the Modem to the ISP server socket and remove the power supply cord. Now, place Velop router node close to the cable modem, and connect router and modem using Ethernet cable.

After that just turn the Velop router on by connecting power cord to the electric wall socket. It is time to connect other nodes to the router.

Supply the power to the other child nodes in your desired positions in your house. Then launch the Linksys app to add nodes and setup the Linksys Velop pro 7 WiFi mesh system MBE7003.

Linksys Setup via App

If you don’t have Linksys app in your phone, then download the app using below given steps.

Download Linksys App

Connect the phone to the Linksys router node with the help of the SSID details given at the label of device.
Go to the play store (Android Phone) or App store (Apple iPhone) to download the app.
Here, type the Linksys app in the search bar and search it. You will reach to the app download page.
Simply, download the Linksys app and install it in your mobile phone, now open the app.

Connect Child Nodes

Now, you have to Log in to the app to reach to the main dashboard.
Enter the username and password, if you don’t have, then create one.
Type the Email address, name and generate password and access the app dashboard.
Here, you have to add the Linksys Velop pro 7 devices first. Just tap on Add Devices option.
Select model like Linksys Velop Pro 7 MBE7003 and also add the child nodes in the app.

Complete Linksys Velop Setup

After connecting all the networking nodes to your home network, you have to adjust all the settings like frequency bands, set WiFi password and admin username and password, and more others.

Mostly, users uses Linksys app to setup the Linksys Velop pro 7 WiFi mesh system MBE7003, but you can also use the computer to do the same task.

Linksys Setup via Web

Connect computer to the router with the help of the LAN cable.
Choose an updated web browser and access the Linksys web GUI interface using URL Linksyswifismart.com or IP 192.168.1.1.
Here, just enter the admin username and password; admin as username and admin as password.
You will reach to the interface, where you can add more nodes and adjust all the Linksys Velop settings and networks.
